It is a known fact that almost all men will experience baldness to some extent. Whether it is thinning hair, bald spots, or total baldness almost all men have to deal with it. The first one is my favorite hair implants. This method offers the longest lasting answer to bald spots. It uses a person’s own hair so there is not a problem with matching. With this method hair follicles are transplanted for one part of your scalp to the bald area. The hair follicles live and grow just like they did in the donor area which looks very natural.
The next method is hair replacement systems. You probably don’t know them by this name. They are also known as toupee’s. The reason for the name change is the word toupee’ has come to be associated with comedy. How many times has the joke been some man loses his hair in the wind or when he falls in the water? The word itself makes a person laugh because of all the funny images. This really hurts the sales of the companies selling hair pieces. Thus they were forced to come up with a different name. These hair replacement systems can cover a bald spot for much less cost that other methods. They are very well matched to your hair color and texture. Also, the system to attach them is much better than it used to be. These deserve a look if you are on a small budget.
The third method is the laser comb. I can’t recommend this simply because there have not been scientific studies to prove it works. The anecdotal evidence indicates many men see hair regrowth with this device. But there needs to be studies under scientific scrutiny. The theory seems to make sense. The laser comb heats the scalp which should increase blood flow. Male pattern baldness, which is the primary cause of baldness in men, is caused by decreased blood flow to the hair. Thus it may prove beneficial but we are waiting for scientific substantiation.
