The Cause of Hair Loss Both Female hair loss and Male Hair Loss

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

The cause of hair loss is a problem that taxes both men and women and is becoming more and more common.

It seems that no one can really prove what the main causes of hair loss are be it female hair loss or the more common male hair loss.

However, as ever there are plenty of theories. One thing is known for sure, and that is, baldness is a natural act.

It’s not a disease or a birth defect, and you must also realize that the re-growth of lost hair is not natural and can end up being very expensive.

However try not to get depressed just because you’re bald. Nowadays bald men are in fashion, men with full heads of hair are shaving it all off. Male hair loss is not such a big deal if you choose to go with the flow.

If you take a look around you magazines and billboards are featuring male models with shaved heads. Plus, many women are attracted to men with a smooth head, the cause of hair loss maybe is not such a big deal.

Cause Of Hair Loss - Some Theories

One theory for the cause of hair loss is that your androgens (a male sex hormone) that circulates in your blood, causes hair follicles to shrink, and eventually the follicles become so small that new hair cannot grow.

Secondly, stress can be responsible for male hair loss and female hair loss alike.

Scientific studies show that men who were under stress suffered more than the normal amount of hair loss well into 3 months after the stressful period. So in theory a solution to avoid a common cause of hair loss is to relax and relieve the stress right now to avoid hair loss later on.
